The Traffic Department made a sudden series of campaigns in the six provinces during the weekend which led to 7696 traffic violations and the seizure of 587 vehicle and referred to 18 persons to the Reservation Traffic.
The issued statics stated that it has been registered 1869 traffic violations in the Capital governorate and seized 245 vehicles, whereas it has been signed 945 violations and seized 40 vehicles in A-Farwaniya governorate.
It's added that Hawally governorate recorded 2053 violations and seized 68 vehicles as the number of the violations in Al-Ahmadi has been reached to 831 and seized 15 vehicles.
In Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate ,61 violations have been registered on the Weekend and one vehicle was seized, as the violations in Jahra have reached 648 violations and seized 52 vehicles.
It's noted that the Operation Department of the Traffic Department registered 1023 violations on the Weekend and seized 164 vehicles, in addition to 257 violations were recorded in the Airport and seized 2 vehicles.
The Security Media Department called on the drivers to follow the rules and ethics of traffic and should adhere traffic signs, signage and landlines not to fall in violations to protect road users and special and public properties from the effects of the traffic accidents.
