Within the awareness efforts that's undertaken by the Ministry of Interior represented in the Public Relations and Moral Guidance Department and the Security Media Department for more traffic and security awareness for the students of the different educational stages in the Ministry of Education. The Sunshine Kindergarten of Early Learning of the British School hosted the Assistant Director of the Public Relations and Moral Guidance Department Col. Emad Al-Mulla accompanied by the Head of the Social Welfare Section Captain/ Yousseif Murshid to deliver awareness lecture to the students.
In the beginning, Col. Al-Mulla stressed on the importance of the traffic ethics and rules that should be taken in the young ages in order to avoid the traffic accidents.
He explained to them the need to sit in the rear seats for those who are less than ten years and fasten the safety belt as well as making sure of the road at the crossing, also to be on the right side when descending and ascending to and from the vehicle.
Moreover, he warned them not to play on the public road in order not to be exposed to the unfortunate traffic accidents, making sure that everybody is working for their safety and protection from road dangers and hazards.
He also referred to some of the things that should be followed in the dealing with the children during their presence in the vehicle, stressing on the necessity of committing the bus drivers of the laws of the children safety. He also stressed on the importance of being an assistant in every bus to take care of the children saying that educating the children of the traffic safety is something acquired and they get used to it mentioning the responsibility which's laid on the shoulders of the parents in this matter. Col. Al-Mulla praised the awareness initiative of the Sunshine School of Early Learning calling on all the kindergartens and schools to take it as an example in the same awareness affair because the children are the backbone of the future and has the greatest attention in all the authorities in the various sectors to maintain the safety of such children and insure their security in various ways.
